That is a nice bike, I very nearly bought one years ago with a huge aluminium tank, One of the appeals is that you can do a lot regular servicing, I know someone with a Gold Wing and all work has to be done at the main dealers every 4000 miles and £300 a time.

I am not particularly skilled mechanically but a college friend who raced Guzzi's taught me how to adjust the valves myself which I appreciated. On the other hand when the R100s blew its pushrod seals and puked oil everywhere I let the dealer replace those :)

This not my bike, but I had one the same color from the mid 1980's. Having a history of Harleys and Kawaski's, this bike was the most wonderful bike I ever owned and it had 65K when I bought it.

Mine had a Corbin seat with red piping. Love "Airheads". View attachment 108412
I had an R100s in that colour, Smoke Red I think it was called. Great bike.
