What motorcycle do you or would you have?

Personally I’m into my Mzeds, East German two stroke and four stroke bikes, having an ETZ250 and a Saxon Country 500cc machine. I’m also hankering after a BMW airhead but prices are a bit on the expensive side at the mo!

Cheers,
Bren.

A friend of mine had the 'best' VFR750. I had a couple of goes on it.
I really liked it. I felt like I got in it rather than sat on it.
My last bike was a hornet 600, but I am enjoying the CB5 much more.
So easy to throw about.

Used to have a Honda Varadero. Very comfortable.

Dream bike would depend on several things and would probably change... a good all rounder? or a full on sports bike?

Love the sounds of v twins.

Hiya,

Over the years starting around 17 years old I had 4 bikes including a couple Harleys very old and brand new, a Norton, and a 1969 Beezer that I drove 1700 miles from Arizona to Illinois in the middle of summer.

When I retired last year I was gonna buy myself a treat, seeing as how I ran into some free money when a Chicago baseball team won the Big Megillah. It had been a while since my last bike and I wanted something close to the 84 Sporty I bought new back then. Coincidentally, Harley had recently came out with the 72 Model, which is a retro looking just like mine.

Sigh, turned out I waited too long and realized I could seriously get into trouble real easily, what with my crap reflexes are like now. Hadda pass on it.

Here's a pic from an old auction for the same looking 84 I had....even same color. Back then a Sportster was only 1000cc and 4 speed.

Currently a Suzuki SFV 650. Its a lovely running bike which I shall probably keep. I tried to trade it in against a new V-Strom 650 a couple of years ago....but the trade in value was insulting. I didn't see the point of putting myself into debt for something which didn't offer a lot more!

Just sold my BMW R1100SS,
it hadn't been used in a long, long while.
Been doing up the house & priorities change.

When I get the garage built I'll have another, fancy something Italian next. Had a couple of Guzzis (V50III & 1000S)in the past & have a soft spot for them still.

One of the best bikes I've had was a VFR750 back in the 90s.
