If anyone happens to be in Mansfield this weekend, the latest boxfile set will be at an exhibition in St. Peter’s Church Hall, all weekend.

Would be good to meet any members who might be around.

This a section of a layout that the group that I am part of is building. It is 7mm to the foot scale, so roughly twice the size of my layouts.

The area in the picture is (very) roughly 3ft x 2ft, possibly a bit more. The intent is show a typical area on the backstreets of Hull in the early 1960s. There is much work still to be done.

TBH I have no real interest in railways, but I really appreciate the level of detail and the skill involved to create these, they're amazing! I particularly like little touches like the tyre tracks where the forklift's been operating in the ones on page three. Thank you for posting.

Great admirer of any and all craft skills.

What I find particularly impressive is the degree of realism, the gentle layer of dust and time worn wear on the roofs if the buildings, trucks and engines.

Very impressive.

If I could make any suggestion at all it would be to have a link in your signature box to the photographic history of your modelling.
