The fit and finish is excellent, this is my first Karve and the first impressions are really good! I like that the packaging is paper and card and the handwritten note from Chris was a really nice touch. I'm due a new blade today and missed shaving yesterday so I have two days' beard to go at and I'm looking forward to trying it out later on. If this thing shaves as good as it looks I can see me getting a stainless one too.

Edit - that's not a scratch on the cap, it's a hair. Bloody cat's moulting everywhere!
AAAHHHHH!!! This isn't helping!! :banghead:
Mine hasn't even been shipped , yet!!:speechless:

Congrats!! Happy you received it!!

I really like the colour scheme of the aluminium Karve.
If you feel like its not for you...you know who to sell it to *wink wink*

Whatever Karl offers for it, I'll pay £2.50 more

I’m waiting for a karve with A plate but already looking for a mild alternative(my daily shavers are start.69/twig/42c so I love mild razor).
Anyone tried the cc/oc AA?

Superb, plain & simple. Is it better than the Brass? No, it’s an equal and that’s all I was looking for. It exhibits all of the characteristics of the Brass version (don’t own the Stainless nor Ti versions to compare too) to nearly a tee. And honestly, I just love the Copper look. It will age and patina just as the Brass does and I have no issue with that at all. A quick polish & buff will get it to look good again. We’ll see down the road. Nevertheless, if your on the fence or just don’t like the look, feel or smell of Brass, the Copper set up is a viable option.

Great shaves Gents…..

Copper from Karve (E) was simply Mahvelous today. Buttery smooth yet highly efficient (for my beard at least) and to be quite honest, in the plate adjustable arena no one in my estimation comes close. Yes, I said it. The Rockwell 6S though a fine shaver is outclassed and severely out gunned against the Karve. The Razorock series in the Gamechanger & Lupo configurations certainly put up a great argument in being extremely affordable with equal quality & craftsmansh but, the Karve just offers a broader range of sizes to nearly accommodate every shave face (or any body part for that matter, ladies included) and hair growth/coarseness imaginable. Stainless, Brass, Aluminum & Copper. And hopefully some day soon in Titanium alloy. If that happens as Chris Kirchen has alluded to in recent emails, then that’s the best line up of high alloy 3 piece razors in the business. You just can’t get a bad shave with these finely made razors.

Finished it off with The King itself, Aventus….
