That I can’t answer my friend. The total bill for me was $202 US delivered from Canada. Handle, cap & four plates. Send him an email And inquire. I know takes a bit but, he’ll eventually respond within 3-5 days. Price for the Stainless starts at about 119 GBP & Brass is nearly 58 GBP. Shipping costs I’m completely clueless for you chaps across the pond…. :meh:

Good luck getting hold of a copper razor🤞

I had a couple of emails from Chris and then complete silence since start of July... never received an invoice

Pricing works out like this
  • Handle (3", 3.25", 3.5", or 4") - CAD$75
  • Top Cap (original or widebody) - CAD$55
  • Plate (OC or SB) - CAD$45
  • Stand - CAD$70
If you go for three plates (which is the same as the Daily Shavers Kit), there is a CAD$15 discount

I thought it was interesting on Reddit that Jack (formerly the customer service guy at Karve) when asked about whether any of the Titanium razors had been made yet replied that only two prototypes had ever been manufactured, and he owns one of them. Chris hasn’t actually made any of the rest yet.

This is one of those cases where it might have been better if he'd collected the payment early. That might have created some impetus. As it stands, no money collected, no pressure to follow through.

But I also think there's not much to complain about. Those on the Titanium waitlist got some sort of discount voucher already, essentially for doing nothing other than getting their name onto the list.

Aren‘t you mixing things up? Perhaps there are so many issues going on with every new material and finish that it‘s hard to keep track. I know that those who were waiting for polished razors were given a dicount code. I‘m on the Ti waitlist and haven‘t received anything. Not that I think it‘s necessary.

Did the polished ones go out eventually? He’s been doing well with the other materials, it seems like the polished and titanium have been the sticking points.
