Thank you!Here we tend to think of Shepherds pie as lamb and cottage as beef. Lamb mince or shoulder is common - mince mainly as lamb costs a fortune here now.

I didn’t know the difference. I can count on one hand the Shepherd’s Pie and Cottage Pie I’ve encountered on restaurant menu here in the US. I’ll try my hand at it sometime soon I think. That pic of yours looks straight out of a food magazine.
