Just received my soaps today all the way to the USA! Can't wait to try lathering them tomorrow night. Good thing I got in on this group buy (and got two). It should last me for 7 months. Thanks @Goran.v for the hard work and prompt send out.

I lathered Cedar and Sandalwood for the first time to see what the soap was like. Consider me TOTALLY impressed. I loaded my brush a little on the heavy side and bowl lathered and kept on adding water and ended up with enough lather for six passes. Too bad though because the lather was so rich, I only required two passes plus touch up. Open tub, there was a faint smell mostly spicy and dominantly cedar. Once lathered, definite cedar, and now after a shave and writing this, the sandalwood is starting to come out. I now understand why everyone went bonkers on this group buy, and I will be watching out for the next one. Great work @Goran.v

The Cedar and Sandalwood is my favourite, give it time and the more you use it the more your nose will pick up other facets of the blend. At moments I will get a tiny sharpness of cedar then the sandalwood and lavender jump in with a puff of woody herby smoke. the fragrance has a way that it grows and plays tricks on your nose making you imagine notes that don't even make up the profile let alone the formula lol

Quick question, how long are you guys loading your brush for? I loaded for about 30 seconds and had enough lather for 3 X2 pass shaves. Excellent clumpy thick lather. So much so that it clogged my Wolfman. Not many soaps have had the thick stodgy viscosity to do that. I was adding water throughout and it seems the soap absorbs everything you add. Very impressed with the performance. I need to establish the correct water:product ratio. I think slickness will improve for me once I dial in the correct amount of water.

Load like you did but measure in more water. I had the very same issue the first time I used the soap. It blooms and busts into lather so easily that you end up too thick if not careful. But once you know how the water levels should be it will be more than you can believe

Thanks I will keep at it, this soap consistency when lathered reminds me a lot of Haslinger. Great stuff.

Same happened to me. I cut the loading down to 20 seconds and continued to add water until the lather appeared a little glossier and brush indentations in the faded out quickly. It's slicker than slick once you get there
