I did 2 passes without any issues yes it is more aggressive but I use straight razors most weekends so still tamer than a Dovo bizmark or thierrs issard sparticus snakewood square point

I was added onto the list following my request on 05/08/17 and was originally scheduled to receive the razor after Andymc133.

I'm presuming that the confusion may have come about as my first name is Andy as well.

Razor - Timeless 0.95 OC plate and scalloped cap
Blade - Gillette nacet
Brush - omega 31020
Soap - Wickham 1912 Buddha wood

Excellent shave today probably the best with a modern razor. Key for me is a sharp blade so I have only to use the lightest of pressure I'm sure a mild blade would cause more issues and irritation because of effort needed

Razor - Timeless 0.68 scalloped plate and flat cap
Blade - Gillette nacet
Brush - Semogue 830
Soap - mitchell's wool fat

Switched back to the less aggressive base plate and the shorter handle and again got very good results I'm going to have one more shave tomorrow morning and then I'll decide on my favourite combination

Last shave today with this fine razor again results were very good so would I buy a timeless

My favoured combination would be

TRH1: 12mm x 85mm knurled razor handle: STAINLESS STEEL

SSSMCAP: Smooth Cap: STAINLESS STEEL

SSOCBASE: Open Comb Base Plate: STAINLESS STEEL


SSSCLBASE: Scalloped Base Plate: STAINLESS STEEL


This would come to a grand total of $350 or around £270 and that is before customs stung you for all they can get.

Yes I might but for one reason only and that is I already have both a Gillette fatboy and a Gillette slim which I consider to be truly timeless razors and would recommend you buy first

Not sure the timeless will still be sort after in 60 years like the fatboy

Were going by the list on the first page @ajc347, just checked and you are definitely on the list. Is this the correct placement? If not please let me know and I can sort something out.
