Yesterday I opened a thread on the Italian forum to look for suggestions on a lavender lather, either an English lavender, complex and articulated like Oxford and Cambridge, or a Mediterranean one.

While waiting to clarify my ideas I decided to use the one I have and I chose Atkinsons, whose fragrance is capturing me.
What a fantastic shave: two passes and it seems that I passed against the grain!

Sapone PS: Valobra Glicerolanolina
Sapone: Atkinsons, Crema alla lavanda
Ciotola: La Mariolina
Pennello: Lab. Villefranche, Il Tee, Padouk/Silvertip 24
Rasoio: Gillette, Rocket
Lametta: Polsilver, Wizamet
AS 1: MilMil, Biensur
AS 2: BeMan, Balsamo Polivalente

Saturday: Shavemac and Karve Aluminium with a carbon Treet
SUnday: Razorock 400 and the HIRAM Commander with a Feather Pro

Probably my lightest razors Vs. my heaviest. And who won?

Difficult one. Results say the HIRAM delivers a better shave and despite its weight (which I dislike but put up with) it's comfortable because it's not head-heavy however the handle size and shape makes it feel cumbersome unlike the fabulously nimble and precise Karve. It's like a broad-sword Vs. a rapier and I prefer the precision of a rapier. If I had to keep only one it would be the Karve.
