Excuse me..... I'm not a bloody vegan, I would NEVER go near or touch the lettuce.

I acquired a taste for Vegemite and lettuce when I was a child. My mother would put whatever she had left in the cupboard on my sandwiches for school. If that was all she had. That’s what went on. That was better than going without like some kids did.
