Was it the C plate you went for in the end? I did see you ordered the D plate initially.

Yes the C, the D was a mistake.
He does now have a diagram of blade gaps on his site but as we know that’s only part of the equation

Well I am on my 2nd shave with the Karve plate C, thoughts after shave one were that is has potential to be a great razor. Shave 2 was better again, producing a very good shave with 2 passes and a tidy up.
Not in the BBS-1 league but as efficient as The Blackbird SB but without the (for me) getting the skinned feeling.
I think this will get better as I get used to the razor..............
But as usual YMMV .............:D:D

Exactly my thoughts, bearing in mind that it cost me around £78 for the longer handle (I did escape customs) and with quicker postage
