Pass Around Atelier Durdan No7 DE razor

It's... alive!
It's a rather nice razor to look at.
The handle feels a bit slippery when dry, but oddly enough is grippy enough when wet.
The stand also provides a more secure anchor for the razor than its dainty look might suggest.
I have now had a shave with every plate.
On about 1 to 1.5 days of growth with the 1.5mm (last week Wednesday), 1.1mm (Thursday) and 0.7mm (Friday) plates, and on ~2.5 days of growth today - I went halfsies with the 0.7mm and 0.3mm plates.
I have not compared it to other heads as I usually do yet, though.
The 1.5mm and 1.1mm plates felt pretty similar. Managed to get the blade to bite me when using the 1.5mm plate - I got a little too swift around my pointy chin. Other than that, not too much of a difference between the two.
The 0.7mm one felt a bit milder but not as much as I had expected it to.
The 0.3mm plate felt rather like the Yaqi Ghost 70SP. Very safe, but still did a good job.
I should say that with all plates, it felt like there was a bit of blade flex. Easier to feel with the 1.5mm and 1.1mm plates, not much with the 0.7mm one
and it was practically irrelevant with the 0.3mm plate.
On the amount of growth I shaved, the 1.5, 1.1 and 0.7mm plates felt comparably efficient. I would imaging the 1.5 and 1.1mm plates would be pretty neat for infrequent shavers. Probably not as nice as an OC plate, but they would do.
The angle was easy to find and keep with all plates, although a bit more of a challenge with the 0.3mm plate, as there wasn't all that much metal in contact with my skin and because of the exposure, I couldn't really feel the blade much either.
However, today's result was identical on the 0.7mm and 0.3mm side. I had to do a few pickups with the 0.3mm plate, but I'm pretty sure that's just because I failed to keep the angle in some spots.
On the other hand, I got overconfident with the 0.7mm plate and I managed to get a few weepers with it. A bit annoying considering the previous shave with it was without any.
It's a rather interesting razor.
I'll try to compare it to a few razors I have during the week before sending it on.

As a head shaver (daily or every other day) I’m looking for advice with regards to gaps before I place my order for a titanium No 7. I prefer good efficiency but without too much blade feel.
Can anyone compare the efficiency and blade feel of the .50 or .70 gaps to any of the following razors: Rockwell, Karve Bison, BB Lite, Wolfman Guerrilla .54 or .69, Carbon Cx (all plates) or the CF Legacy Ti?

I can only compare from memory, but I found Bison to have very little blade feel, but I found it a bit rough, no matter what angle I tried.
I seem to have been the only one who seems to have had the issue, though.
However, I'll say that I found the large lather holes it had largely not very effective due to their depth in the "inside" part of theirs. It would create a sort of a box andone hair would accumulate there, it was really difficult to rinse out without unscrewing the handle a good bit.
I found the 0.7mm plate to be smoother, and lather flow-through better, possibly because there isn't such a box effect of lather slots the Bison had for me. As such, the 0.7mm plate is pretty comfortable for me, more so that the Bison, and the amount of blade feel might be marginally higher, but that's difficult for me to judge now without having both to compare.
Efficiency-wise, I actually found both the 0.3 and 0.7mm plate to be about equally efficient, but the 0.3mm plate has practically no blade feel, so I just ended up going by the feel of the material of the head on the skin to get the angle, whereas with the 0.7mm one, it's easier to feel the material of the head because of the larger gap, and there's a more blade feel.
I only have the aluminium CF Legacy razor, but I could compare it with the 0.7mm plate before I send it on next week, if you'd like me to.

I compared the 0.7mm plate against the CF Legacy Al head using the handle that came with the passaround No 7 and a fresh Gillette Perma-sharp blade.
I'd say efficiency is similar between the two and I wouldn't say either of them is a particularly smooth razor, but the No 7 was a little smoother.
In both heads, I felt some blade flex, but more in the CF Legacy Al head.
The CF Legacy Al head also had better flow-through, but I it a bit too "flexy" for my liking, so I'll very likely sell the CF on soon.#
I have to say, the stand is much more stable than I'd have thought from it's diminutive size.
To be perfectly honest, I think I'd go for the 0.5 or 0.3mm plate

The 0.7 was very efficient for me but loved the feel of the 0.3 so hoping the 0.5 is just where I want to be.
