That looks brilliant. The resolution look fantastic and the colour works beautifully.

So got the feather razor designed by @SlimGem printed in resin.....don't mind the colour :D. My printer guy had some new resin in and offered to print it for free as a test for him and I got to see how it shaved for free so thought why not lol. Turns out to be a mild and effective shave so happy days i'll be getting it printed in clear resin next and offering this to the Mrs.

Next up two brush stands to match my two printed resin brushes. Very happy indeed.

Thanks @SlimGem !! I printed the bowl and the Gem razor n PLA and they are awesome!! For the bowl I wouldn't had decreased the diameter in the inner top section to avoid the handle of the brush hitting it during the lathering process now and then. A "V" curved shape could be better.

Straight after the print process and following a little bit of sanding w/ sandpaper:

I assume this is wood PLA.
Liquid resin sealing will follow.

We thought of adding a step with an acrylic primer (for colour) prior to sealing it with liquid resin, but this idea was just abandoned (it's four of us).

I am also told the bowl lathers excellently.

Wow! That looks awesome! The razor has a lot of detail on the handle, and the corner blade guards have a very tight tolerance. That's why it's recommended for resin printing. Hats off for pulling it off in PLA.

P.S. I have the STLs for the bowl without the in-turned lip. It's basically the opposite, the rim flares out. PM me if you like.

Great work! I really like the finish on the green bowl. I just might have to try that glass resin stuff.

This is a set of replacement scales I re-designed out of a broken set. Files are available for download on Thingiverse.

The razor holds very well the blade, taking into account the PLA was printed at 0.1 (should have tried 0,06). Thanks for the redesigned bowl I'll PM you right away!!

I while back, I purchased a more than useless Ever-Ready 400 brush handle just so I could duplicate it. :) I really like this brush. :)
