The quality looks great! I think you'll appreciate the shallow angle. What blade are you using? I'm not having much luck with the gem blue stars.Just received my Triceratops. Very pleased.

Tomorrow's shave now planned.
Thanks Roger. I'm blown away by your design (is that enough crawling?) and the print quality. The quality looks great! I think you'll appreciate the shallow angle. What blade are you using? I'm not having much luck with the gem blue stars.
Thanks! I can get GEM by Personna on Amazon. Will try those next. In the picture, the blade on the left started to rust after one use. Maybe stainless is the way to.Thanks Roger. I'm blown away by your design (is that enough crawling?) and print quality.
As for the blades, here in the UK, we are limited to the GEM by Personna, stainless steel PTFE coated blade, generally supplied by Connaught Shaving. Other blades are hard to come by.
Very nice results! The green bowl looks like real ceramic and the wooden one looks like it just came off the lathe ready for sanding and staining. As far as the GEM razor, if you're referring to the Triceratops, I think Mr @Electrif and Mr @sɐǝɹpu∀ have given it a thumbs-up, and therefore I'm considering it final. If you prefer a mild GEM, I can upload a version with a slightly raised comb of about 0.1mm more to close the blade gap instead of changing the geometry at the front which is what forces the use of a shallow angle. But again, results will vary from printer to printer. We can only thank you for your design, @SlimGem !
When you perfect your new milder GEM, I'll have it printed in the UK, in the outlet Andreas recommended to me...
Yep, I went for grey and just received it today.Possibly a daft question but, if you commission an item, say a razor, to be 3D printed, can you specify the colour? I suppose that would depend on who you get to do the work...

The Jade(d) Shovelhead? ;-)My last GEM style razor design finally finished. This GEM SE Razor is designed to be 3d printed in resin only. Files are available for download on Thingiverse.

This razor is designed for RESIN PRINTING ONLY.
