I've tried 3 samples so far:
  • King of Oud: the best one out of the three, but still a subpar scent in my opinion.
  • Man from Mayfair: just plain bad.
  • Merchant of Tobacco: worst scent I have ever smelled, it's even so bad that I make jokes about it. I often say that if I ever end up in a coma, they just have to put the sample under my nose and I'll instantly wake up and start cursing.
So yeah, Bare Siero it was for me.
You should have told this to king Sri.. And post here his reaction! Damn, that would be so mean!

If I remember correctly I found everything pretty elite, but post-shave feel was the true star. But I've got very limited experience with his Donkey Milk base.

It's getting a bit crowded on this shelf yes.

What did I just say? The shelf here does not even have dust on it! All soaps are tidy and this look like probably an A&E Promo stand!

But the pure truth is that you can do better. I can clearly see some empty space.

Now that I think it much better, I may grab a King Of Oud, the soap base is very very good, no need to go up there with the Siero.
But the prices are very close. If the fragranced base cost 24$ I would have grabbed one.

Post shave is key with WK, but again that's not a metric that particularly concerns me personally as I always use post shave products. I do think that starting at 24.99 with the scented soaps in the new base would have helped Sri a lot. I'm sure he'll still sell well.

Well, there's no dust because I always close the door (which you can't see in the picture). There's not going to be room for long though. WK Bare Siero is on the way and I'm thinking about getting a few more DG Milksteak soaps too. And who knows maybe another BaM or A&E soap in the near future too.

A Zingari soap is what you need next. Me too as well. When we will stop?

Not so sure about that. The Murphy & McNeil Kodiak base is tempting too (we just need more scents in that base). But at the same time, I feel like I need to slow down on acquiring so many new soap bases. I only shave once or twice a week so it takes time to properly test a new soap base.

Me too. Once a week! I maybe stop buying brushes, but soaps and razors... It is difficult.. Especially if Maggards have discount on shipping. I feel like stealing him then! Haha!

Spot on. I really need to stop too. For me it's every other day but even at that rate, actually using all these soaps through to completion seems impossible.

Tell me exactly which blades can fit in the Hawk??
Most Feather Artist Club style blades. The Schick Proline P-30 blades also work since I've used them in the Hawk. And I bet the Feather Soft Guard blades will also work. The Feather Pro Light blades won't work. You can get the Schick Proline P-30 blades from Connaught Shaving (UK) or even cheaper straight from Rakuten (Japan). The Feather and Kai blades can be bought from RazorBladesClub (but I bet you can also find them on Rakuten). You can get the Hawk in 4 different colours from Connaught Shaving.
