I like the label art of his Fougère Mania soap, but one thing that drives me crazy is that he has written Fougère wrong. It is Fougère and not Fougére. It should be written with what the French call an "accent grave" and not an "accent aigu".

I noticed that, as well, and once you see something like that, it can’t be unseen. Sometimes being a proofreader feels like a curse…

I mean, if we're going there, he insists on his brand being pronounced 'Holy Cow' even though 'Kaw' the way it's spelled makes that impossible. Sri can argue into the ground about it, but you cannot get an "ow" sound out of that spelling no matter which way you say it.

I must be missing something here, because I pretty much pronounce cow as kaw (British vs American pronunciation). My guess is that you pronounce kaw differently than I do. I guess it's a bit like pronouncing "last", that word sounds totally different in American English compared to British English.

Yes, every time you pick up that tub you're presented with that spelling error in a big ass font. I hope he fixes it when he makes new batches.

Yes, and mild, INOFFENSIVE scents. I don't like the Taum Sauk I have either, too much animal smell. Slickness, lather, face feel, top notch though.

Now I'm waiting the Sandalwood from SW.

SW Sandalwood is a sweet sandalwood, and pretty inoffensive but not a great scent to my nose (based on a sample pot not a full tub)

Well... I've just placed an order for the Bare Siero over at Maggards, so ignore everything I've said so far and if you ever meet me feel free to punch me right in the face.

Well, guess what this guy just ordered... They only had 15 in stock when they appeared on the Maggard Razors website and after I placed my order, they had 14 in stock, so it seems like I got the first one. Price was $24.99 for the unscented one. Curious to see how this base performs. Probably overhyped because that seems to be the trend lately.

I think I've bought one just to justify testing the base, and I also don't have any other unscented soaps right now, but unless this base is truly transformative I won't be paying the high prices for this soap going forward.

Basically the same here. It's my first unscented soap and I want to try out the new base. The way I also see it, is that we're taking one for the team. Just received my order shipped e-mail as I'm typing this message.

I ordered Bare too. Don't care about the price, I need to try the new base. The Bufala base is one of the best I've ever tried.
