Loaded baked potato with chives, sweet onion, shredded cheese, real bacon bits, sour cream, unsalted butter, sea salt, black pepper.

New coffee grinder coming today to replace the 25 year old one. I am turning the old one into a pepper mill and got some peppercorns yesterday. I read you clean your coffee grinder by grinding rice. We shall see!!

I haven't had one of those baked potatoes with sour cream and bacon for many a year, used to have it with a good steak, perfect.

The potatoes were either Idaho or King Edwards baked spuds that were as big as your hand, you can still buy them but not perhaps at that size. As children we used to take them to church organised bonfires and an adult used to put them into the bottom of the fire for us for an hour or two, we just had butter and then the vicar would come around to all the children with parkin and ginger beer.

For those away from these shores parkin is a ginger cake, quite sticky, popular with old fools like me around this time of year

Nothing like a good camp fire for baking potatoes.

Thank you for sharing. I watched an Asian movie where a man had a baked potato stand.

Is Manchester home of Manchester United FC? If so, are you a fan?
Yes, home to Man U, and also Man City

I have been to see Liverpool, Bradford, Leeds and a few others because I have friends who come up from the south of England and are football mad, father, two teenage sons and their mum, they spend a week going to as many grounds as possible. Northern clubs are known to be friendly, the security people show them in and let them look around, they love it. Bradford City football club goes to the ultimate extreme, they look around meet the players, are given signed balls and all sorts of stuff, Bradford also has a very good restaurant in daily use, if they arrive early afternoon they are shown a table and are given dinner at no cost, so of course they spend big bucks in the club shop on shirts etc

They have a really good time, my wife's employer has a box at another club but she insists on doing a running commentary so I try and avoid going.

It may be a bit much but they made a film about the group of players you mentioned called the Class of 92. They all came together through the Man United youth set up that year and went on to win the Treble - Champions League, Fa Cup and Domestic League.

It has some references to them as young trainees. You might be able to dip in and out of it. My wife watched it and enjoyed it but she's a nuts Manchester United fan. It was on Amazon last time I saw it but it'll be knocking around on YT or chunks of it will.
