What's the dinner tonight?

Too hot ... just half an avocado and a few gulps of yogurt and then out to fencing. Yeah, this heat, three layers of kevlar and a foil jacket. It seemed like a good idea! Actually, it didn't ... but I did it anyway. Home, a pork pie and three pints of cider in rapid succession.

Bloke
Strip-loin Steak - Mash - Mushrooms - Pepper Sauce

I'd eat it again. Have the sweats now.

- Norwegian food Tuesday -
*New Potato w/ Jarlsberg Bearnaise ("Bearnaise" doesn't sound that Norwegian, but they love it more than the French do)
*Sweetcorn, cumin & ghee "dhal"
*Breaded Vege burgers

I'd happily just eat the Bearnaise & potatoes striaght out of the pot, but there's something "alcoholicy" about that, and I've been bone dry for two years. The fiance watches poop TV on Tuesday nights, so after dinner I get four hours to shower, shave & play with my SE & DE toys.
Pardon me, but as a Norwegian and lover of food, I need to say that the only Norwegian about that dinner was the cheese element. And new potatoes, but I imagine that is a common thing in all potato staple countries. Moreover, Jarlsberg bearnaise? Can it possibly be any good?

It wasn't meant to be taken seriously ("Dhal"). My fiance is from Tonsberg and the Knorr Bearnaise mix was a childhood favourite.

That's a nice walk, particularly St Pancras itself, a beautiful building.

For me tonight, it is pizza!
Weather was lovely. Station was heaving when I got there. It was a nice walk as I didn't get lost!

Chicken Korma out a jar :meh:
But I'll add a little Mr Viki's King Naga to mine to liven it up a little...

Just hoping my missus has had a crap day at work and needs / wants to go out, in which case it will probably be a couple of pints of Magic Rock, High Wire and a Chicken Jalfrezi.
Fingers crossed, she should be home within the hour!!!!:hungry:

I can't here the words "Chicken Jalfrezi" without thinking of this scene in "'Orrible" :-
