Pardon me, but as a Norwegian and lover of food, I need to say that the only Norwegian about that dinner was the cheese element. And new potatoes, but I imagine that is a common thing in all potato staple countries. Moreover, Jarlsberg bearnaise? Can it possibly be any good?- Norwegian food Tuesday -
*New Potato w/ Jarlsberg Bearnaise ("Bearnaise" doesn't sound that Norwegian, but they love it more than the French do)
*Sweetcorn, cumin & ghee "dhal"
*Breaded Vege burgers
I'd happily just eat the Bearnaise & potatoes striaght out of the pot, but there's something "alcoholicy" about that, and I've been bone dry for two years. The fiance watches poop TV on Tuesday nights, so after dinner I get four hours to shower, shave & play with my SE & DE toys.
It wasn't meant to be taken seriously ("Dhal"). My fiance is from Tonsberg and the Knorr Bearnaise mix was a childhood favourite.Pardon me, but as a Norwegian and lover of food, I need to say that the only Norwegian about that dinner was the cheese element. I can't here the words "Chicken Jalfrezi" without thinking of this scene in "'Orrible" :-Just hoping my missus has had a crap day at work and needs / wants to go out, in which case it will probably be a couple of pints of Magic Rock, High Wire and a Chicken Jalfrezi.
Fingers crossed, she should be home within the hour!!!!![]()
