Yes. I fully agree Season 1 is a bit of a slog and I think it's pretty widely acknowledged by the fans. I almost didn't come back for Season 2 but I am glad I did - things gather pace and it feels like that first season is almost all exposition to set up a much larger story. I recently rewatched the whole thing before Season 5 dropped and whilst it was easier the second time around, the pacing in that first season is still weird. I obviously recommend giving it another chance but I would understand if you felt life was too short!

Really enjoying this now, deffo picks up the pace after series 1. Only thing I struggle with is the names of people, places and ships. Can I feck remember them all!

I don't pay for tv, so I reckon there is half a chance the first ones mentioned in the thread might be arriving on 'normal' tv now.

Just watched a Documentary on Sky Arts about photographer Dorothy Bohm. Fantastic photos, they showed some briefly she took with a Polaroid, WOW ! Even on a Polaroid !!!!
