Shocking in the information provided. It isn't a balanced argument, instead like many Netflix documentaries it's made to provoke. However illustrates many faults that I wasn't aware of, in particular issues with MSC accreditation/approval.

Just finished 'Invincible' on Amazon, really enjoyed it and now a bit of a fan < profile pic confirms. Basically an animated adult superhero series written by the chap that created 'The Walking Dead'. I believe it was also a pretty popular comic book series as well, definitely recommend a watch gents.

Just finished series 1 of Rake - Netflix - tongue in cheek comedy/drama about a reprobate defence Barrister set in Sydney. It raises some valid points about archaic laws still in current use. I’m looking forward to the other series.

Catching up on old TV shows I missed while working shift many years ago. Currently watching reruns of Due South on a BBC channel we have. It's a police comedy that lampoons Canadian stereotypes and stars Paul Gross. Gordon Pinsent supports him as the ghost of his RCMP father and Leslie Nielson makes frequent appearance too. I guess you'd have to be Canadian to appreciate some of the nuances.

Just binged both seasons of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan on Prime with the Mrs, really enjoyed that one and seemed to follow the same vein as films. Can't wait for the next season to crack on now!

Watched the first episode of The Great Escapists on Amazon. With Richard Hammond and Tori Belleci I was expecting a sort of Brainiac meets Scarpheap Challenge with them solving engineering challenges by building stuff. No, it’s a sort of half-hearted sitcom with anything they need built for them off-screen. Massively disappointing.

The Repair Shop, always a nice gentle watch. For our overseas members, it’s a programme where people bring in family articles for repair and a group of experts fully restore them. Always restored sympathetically and leaving the character of the item.
