I wouldn't be so sure! HBO tends to be fairly hands off and lets the show creators do their thing. Never get away with it over here I agree but nobody has the guts to make quality TV over here.
Sometimes it is better not to show everything, e.g. Breaking Bad.

Apart from that it sounds exactly like the sort of nonsense Hollywood serves up nowadays. If someone from Disney sees this you'll be working for them as a writer by this time next week.

breaking bad is alright, funny at times but not all that i kinda expected better tbh
what i enjoyed before was dexter but the last 3-4 were a flop, started off with so much potential
mrs is watching gotham, thats quite good i watched a few episodes of season one but cba carrying on but she seems to be enjoying it

Interesting. I did not know it was an Anglo-French creation (the respective narrations have nothing in common though, while the animations are the same). Oddly enough, the dog, named Pollux, is British, as he speaks with a British accent in the French version (maybe a tribute to the English co-creator; edit: I verified it is indeed the reason).

Have been watching a bunch of shows lately. Nothing else to do. Finished Lilyhammer a couple week ago. I had watched it by myself but found it to be so funny that I told my wife to watch it. I ended up rewatching much of the series with her. I think it's hilarious. The best season is Season 2 in my opinion. One that my wife and I both find addicting is Line of Duty. It's a british crime show that I find to be very well done.
