That was a lot more satisfying shave 😁

Now that I know what this razor requires.
Feather and Kia will be the next blades to try šŸ‘

Certainly going in the right direction with blade choice.
This shave was smoother and more efficient than yesterday's. And I thought the BIC blade was good šŸ‘

The Kai blade was a bit much and left my neck with quite a few weeps.

The Feather and BIC would be my pick for this razor.

That's my turn done.
Thank you Peter for allowing the use of your razor šŸ‘

I like this razor with BiCs as well as Permasharps, but then I seem to like BiCs and Permasharps in pretty much any razor. :)
I find it to be something of a Henson alternative for people who don't want to feel like they're locked into a pre-set angle, although it does have a fairly narrow sweet spot with any but a Kai blade.
Or just for variety, which is why I like it, and also because it's like a semi-guided Tech. :)

I found the deign very intriguing and that’s what drew me to participating in this pass-around, and also just want to try out different razors. I like the way the head is machined / hollowed out and the handle avoids using knurling and it fits together beautifully. I’m OK with the head guiding a specific shaving angle (I’m a massive fan of the Henson). However, I still feel the razor is too heavy for my taste (around 75g is my ideal) and this weighs over 100g, and there’s just isn’t enough blade feel or efficiency. A Ti razor that’s about 20% more bitey would be perfect for me. A huge thank you to Peter for offering his own razor for this pass around.

It would make it worse but I could heat shrink wrap a piece of Matron’s rubber knickers round it. Problem solved and you get to play with knickers every time you shave - bonus!

Glad it caught your eye. :)

They do make an aluminium one as well. It's a little milder and a slightly different design, but less expensive than the steel one.
They sometimes hide out of stock stuff on their website, so both this one and the aluminium one sometimes vanish and then reappear.

Would you like to try the aluminium one?
