Received the box yesterday safe and sound thanks to @ben139.
From the off, I have no intention to try the OC! So started with the SB and polish head on my stork handle. Yes a smooth and close shave with a slight touch of irritation on the cheeks but that is purely set up I think!
Tomorrow will try the scalloped base and head to see the difference between my version!

You really should try the OC, Marco. It's unlike any other OC in feeling like an SB on your face. (I can't recall whether both OC plates were included in this passaround though?)

Just my 2p but I would say the Timeless OC and Wolfman OC are the BEST OC DE's available IMHO..phenomenally smooth and efficient.

Exactly! It's the OC that feels like an SB. Great razor.

I actually found the straight bar the more "aggressive" on the face than the OC. It reminded me a bit of when I had an Ikon Shavecraft 102 , the OC for me was smoother than the straight bar.
But, (the Timeless) is not a patch on the Blackbird OC

Well I love the Blackbird OC too..but a lot of people find it a bit aggressive...Blackbird SB and OC are awesome...I will be using the Blackbird OC tomorrowBut, (the Timeless) is not a patch on the Blackbird OC
OK let's say Wolfman ,Timeless and Blackbird OC's are the best hahahaha

Hot off the press......
After last rugby training day a hot bath ensued...blah blah, soak, moan and relax.
Well I tried the OC today with a new Astra blade and my stork handle with the usual Wickhams Citrus Musk soap and Shavemac tsr brush...
We know that I am of Italian persuasion but I change my mind about OCs. This one is very, I mean, very smooth. I was a bit careful on a 3 pass shave but it was a great shave with no irritation at all as confirmed my the absence of any sting from the Wickhams AS. I did have to tread carefully as I thought it could nick me.
I will try again tomorrow and see where we get to but my eyes have been opened up further to which I say thank you and my bank manager does not in any way thank you...
