You need to try and start eating, you have had an op and need to build yourself back up, sooner you get on the mend the sooner you’ll get out of that place. Have you told any one there how anxious you are ? They should be able to help and reassure you. I d9nt like the thought of being in hospital personally so I’d be doing what ever I could to get out of the place. Trouble for me is I’d probably know the staff at our local hospital or they would know my wife, I’d rather they were strangers. Not a lot us here can do but I’m always willing to chat with you here or you can send me PM’s.

Really don’t worry about where they cut you open, I’ve had a couple of minor surgery’, healed up nicely and barely visible. They will monitor them and it’s so very rare these days you get complications from scars. You’ll be fine I’m sure. Come on tell all about these nurses ? HOT or NOT ?
I don't have any appetite. The doctor that made tha surgery was more strict with me for the appendix and then I felt stressed.

The younger doctor told me that he believes that I'm in his top3 anxious patients have had ever met. And he is telling me to relax, the possibilities are on my side.

I was thinking now, such a coincidence the soft mass and the inflammation of the appendix? What can I tell guys, I'm just not strong enough. You got me.

You are strong enough. You've got to learn to calm down as much as you can. Read, watch some shaving videos. You're in the best place you can be, where you will be looked after and your family will also be safe. You'll have your results soon and chance are everything will be fine.

Guys it is negative. Im still in pain and I must walk into the room, I went for pee now and the pain is there.

No fever too. But for some reason I'm still worried, can't explain. Maybe from the general things that they told me.

Great news that the test is negative. Try to look at every positive as a victory. It's going to hurt, your appendix burst. It will get better.

I just want to go home and rest. Nothing else. Pain is there but I must walk into the room again. It not that easy.

Great news the test was negative, you WILL be fine. You have got yourself on a downer and worried too much, time to focus ahead and think of the positives.
Thank you. Now I realize that my only fear wasn't COVID but I don't want anything to happen in the near future from this situation.

Maybe if I had made the surgery soon enough, things would be better. I worry about this soft mass too. Probably it's from the inflammation, but I'm still anxious.

Good news randy, wish you a speedy recovery. You have already worried yourself sick more than actual sickness !!
You are too young to be thinking so much. Trust me when you will be 60, thinking back this day you are going to laugh, why did you allowed this to stress you out so much.

I hope it will happen just like you said. Thank you. Yes, I take all things way too seriously and every person who tells me something negative, I think about it every day.

Again today, after I changed room, a doctor told me about the soft mass in the blind bowel. Whether this caused the inflammation of the appendix, or the inflammation of the appendix caused this mass, a try from my system, to avoid severe pain and mass leakage of the appendix. There was liquid all around the appendix and the leakagr had started maybe 5 days ago but there was no strong pain.

I don't think I've met anyone who worries more than you George! And I speak as someone who is a worrier!

You'll be absolutely fine. Again, you're in the best place and you're young and have lots and lots of time ahead of you.

I'm not a doctor obviously but it could be a benign mass, which is something quite a few adults get as they age. Completely harmless and only found when issues like this occur. It could be a part of the appendix that's broken lose, or even a small cyst. What you're worried it might be is against the odds. Think positively my friend and imagine how much better you'll be feeling soon when it all turns out okay.
