They did yesterday the cancerous tests, by taking blood, they told me everything was ok.

I must do another CT and find the first one I did prior the surgery and a colonoscopy in about a month. We will see about that.

The appendix was sent for histological check as always and that's all.

This is all excellent news! Stop worrying and be with your family. Enjoy that. The tests will all turn out fine I'm sure.

Update: Thank you all for the good words.

(I had a CT scan prior the surgery but I had not the results.)

The result of the CT scan turned out to show only serious appendix inflammation for some time, a small poop that had stuck inside the appendix and blocked it, make it to get bigger and bigger.

The verdict suggested surgical operation and further investigation.

I sent the text only, to my gastroenterologist and although said that it seems to show no tumour, suggested a colonoscopy after 4-6 weeks for further investigation and see if there is another kind of more specific inflammation covered by the inflammation of the appendix.

I don't know what to think, I will just wait. I can't work for now so I must stay home.

Stitches will come out on Monday.

This is all great news George! It was just a little poo. Remember that when you’re feeling worried. Little poo. If I was a soap maker I’d make a little poo soap in your name. Chocolate scented of course.

Seems I'm a bit late, but I'm wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope the colonoscopy in a month from now goes well so all of this will be over soon and you don't have to worry anymore. Fingers crossed.

Thanks Cobra, I'm feeling much better now and stronger.. I can drive so I can get back to work on Monday. I must avoid lifting weight though.

Update:

He also said that the surgeon in the hospital who told me what he told me, is an a&##hole.
