Temperature 38.3 Celsius..

Checked again and temperature is 38.9 Celsius. No other symptoms except heat & excessive sweat.

I was outside for many hours in the balcony and then decided to lay down and get some rest.

I worry mostly about my daughter, she sees me like this, wants to play, and I try avoid that.

I really don't know what else to do. I'm not sure I can sleep from my anxiety tonight with all this fear.

Don’t know how the health system works in Greece, but can’t you contact a Doctor or someone ?

I spoke with 3 of them. They told me to wait and take probably the test in two or three days later to see how fever will go. It is the first 24 hours in a few hours.

Sweating is good right?

I'm reading a lot on Google and I'm really worried.

It says that the severe symptoms won't start from day 1 but later, so I'm afraid to lay down and sleep.

I have had a similar temperature with ordinary, but severe flu. Best advice that i can give is treat the symptoms i.e. fluids and paracetamol, rather than a pathogen which is currently unknown

Ok Randy.....I f you are able to easily have a test.....I would take it.
1) If it is negative ........It will give you peace of mind
2) If it is positive.....you will be advised on how to proceed yourself and how to protect your friends and family.

I am not a doctor or nurse but have to work with the bl**dy thing so I have had all the equipment but still tested antibody positive nearly a couple of months ago.I am an old fart and have so many aches and pains that I think most of the symptoms must have been masked....in addition it's not really the cold and flu season. So.....all things considered....especially for your own peace of mind.....I would push for a test as life will be hell for you until you know.

Update Kings of Shave.

The fever wouldn't get down, so having also pain in the right side of my belly I went to the hospital. There they decided to make tests and ultrasounds.. They also made the COVID test but no results yet. It turned out to be inflammation of the appendix. Damn me.

Fever went 38.4 and they decided to do a surgery. I'm now in bed, having opposite a man who had just removed his tonsils and spits salive all the time in a basket near him. But next to us, in the next room there are COVID patients, one of them was coughing so hard during the night that I thought he will die in the morning.

Now, although I have serious pain and some blood draining under my ass, I have no fever at all. I asked the nurse if the man next to our room is wearing a mask, she told me yes. And the sound of the cough comes so clear like he was coughing right inside my ear.

The man opposite of me coughed a bit I'm not sure his mask was on or down, but I believe that it must be from his tonsils removal.

Thank you. The man opposite me has not removed his tonsils though. He has just pain in there. Is it possible to infect me with some bacteria or virus? He coughed only once and I'm wearing my mask all the time, except to drink some water.

Here is the fella from Pakistan. Hope he hasn't COVID, he took the test like me, but the result won't be available until tomorrow evening.

That's why we are next to the room with COVID patients, because they treat us like positives until the result show different.

Wearing of the mask should protect you from him and him from you if either of you are carriers. Distancing looks good too.
Probably no worse (more likely) than having an asymptomatic carrier in the back of your taxi.

Right. His mask isn't always up, he takes it down to drink water, don't shallow it and spit it next to him. After that he coughs, but the times he had coughed are very few.

The window next to me is now open, thankfully.

Exactly Bob. But now I'm scared here and afraid of getting something here. If the test is negative, today, they will transfer me opposite to the surgeons again. I have 36.8 with pain killers though.

The person opposite has amygdalitis and no fever today.

I must add that my appendix was broken and liquid started forming inside my belly. A small piece of $*it was floating inside the belly too. I could have died.
