Good to hear you know the answer. Reason I asked is if we don't know, we don't know how high the temp is over normal. Generalities mean nowt here. I run cool at around 36.5c. I was 38.5c last year with sepsis and I was quite mad and hallucinating. 38.5c meant I was 2 degrees over normal, which is a lot.
And what happened then? You went to the hospital?

The thing is that area around the velly, stomach, hurts a lot, sometimes more sometimes less. It stops only when I fall asleep.

Best wishes Randy, let's hope that this is nothing to be concerned about.

I had a forehead temperature check last week in the very hot weather, I felt like I was overheating but it came in at 35.

The more this goes on the more I am convninced that nobody has a handle yet on what this disease is all about.

Just heard that there is a big push on everyone having flu jabs, not entirely sure of the value if everyone is wearing masks and gloves.

For those reasons, I decided to stay in Athens and not go on vacations. I never came closer to anyone without mask and tried everyone who was coughing to stay away.

I wonder that If all people took the same precautions as me and still have the virus eventually, the cases should be at least 1 billion.

I have felt hot most days, but our living room gets the sun all afternoon, when I took my temperature, feeling paranoid, it was fine.

Taking Paracetamol will help with a temperature, but if it carries on best get it checked.

Where did you have sepsis? I feel hot, but I'm now sitting in the balcony for a few hours to avoid come closer to my daughter. I feel always hot in summer TBH, but never tried to check my temperature. I don't cough or sneeze, so I wash my hands and wear a mask.

I worry more about her than me. I can't explain perfectly to her, what is going on.

The moment I will go and make the test I think will faint from my anxiety.

If positive then, I don't really know what to do. Fear & anxiety is the worst enemy for me and I have lots of them in every circumstance, from financial to health issues.

So, the mask and my craziness about precaution didn't work... I should have been lockdown in the basement from the beginning of the pandemic.

Firstly, calm down. This could be any number of things, as others have said fever is a very non-specific symptom and it could be lots of things that aren't Covid. Follow the doctor's advice, drink plenty of water, take paracetamol and if it doesn't go away in a few days or you get worse contact the doctor for advice. Also Covid is a respiratory disease, if you're not coughing and you have an upset stomach it's likely to be something else.

Even if it does turn out to be Covid remember that the vast majority of people get better. Yes, it's been very serious for some but they're a very much a minority.

Good luck, and hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Chris. Thought I was stronger. No, from yesterday I don't cough, nor I have runny nose. I ate my lunch, the smell and taste were good enough.

I don't want anything to happen.

VERY good advice.

Sounds easy to say but hard to do but trying to remain less anxious is best way forward, try to find a distraction or something that can take your mind off it. Drinking plenty too is another good thing. Normal illness is still out there it ain’t just Covid. Get well soon.

Thanks guys so much. Hope in the future to be here to discuss things about soaps etc.

The thing @Northam Saint is that my last day that I have any kind of fever, was back in 2003 with a gastroenteritis.

So, I thought, with this level of protection either I won't get sick at all, or I will have COVID.

If you ask my instinct, I believe that 90% is COVID. Masks could keep away other viruses, but not him as it seems.

Took before some Panadol pill, after I ate, the temperature is 38.2 Celsius in the armpit, but I'm sweating here that I sit, outside, and these days are really hot in Greece.

You have been all of you very helpful. I appreciate that. I'm just a coward person.

Checked again and temperature is 38.9 Celsius. No other symptoms except heat & excessive sweat.

I was outside for many hours in the balcony and then decided to lay down and get some rest.

I worry mostly about my daughter, she sees me like this, wants to play, and I try avoid that.

I really don't know what else to do. I'm not sure I can sleep from my anxiety tonight with all this fear.
