A late post from yesterday, my Laptop was playing silly beggars, i had to crank it up and put more coal on the fire, eventually it perked up, then it would not connect to my Wi-Fi, i could not do a restore as it was saying i had no restore points, i did manage a few reboots then when i switched it on today all seems well, what a palaver.
Anyway, The sabre was wonderfully smooth and did a grande job.

The Platinum blade was a very good match in the Hone today. Smooth as glass from 3 passes.

Cognac and Cuban Cigars: An inviting masculine scent that contains cedarwood with hints of cognac and zesty lemon.

Good amount of scent strength from both the soap and the balm.

The last blade in the den to try in the Asylum and not great.
Left my neck with a few weeps and a bit sore.

My Shave today consisted of...
Brush Blackland Signature synthetic.
Soap Imperial Rum.
Razor Blackland Sabre V2
Blade Gem (5).
Fine Spray bottle.
Aftershave Imperial Rum splash.

First run out using the Fine Spray bottle. It is different and certainly soaks the face.
After creating a creamy face lather I got a nice 2 pass shave.
Only a quick one tonight as it's late.

Hot shower prep with Axe 3 in 1 wash

I usually reserve the Strand brush for creams however I decided to use the Arko soap and the team came through with a rich slick lather. This is the fourth shave with this Astra blade (Russian) with bo signs of wearing out. It was two passes and a close clean shave. British Sterling put a fragrant and bite free finish.

Shaving cream: Trumper's Limes & Old Spice Original mixture
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Black Marble Synthetic
Razor: King C Gillette
Blade: King C Gillette (5th use)
Aftershave: Old Spice Fresh Lime
Balm: Bulldog Original Moisturiser

Combined a dollop of Old Spice Original cream with Trumper's Limes to make a luxurious citrus mixture. Very good shave with the Gillette blade performing admirably on its 5th outing. Old Spice Fresh Lime aftershave to compliment the cream is highly recommended! A great way to start the day now that the heat and humidity has started to rise here in Australia. Those blades are awful in every razor I’ve tried them in - I binned mine.
