in the middle of Following By Chris Nolan and The Discovery - they're both interesting concepts - hope they live up to their premise. watched Virgin Suicides last night which was stylish but didn't really speak to me. Saw Bronx Tale also - like a family friendly version of Goodfellas.

Great Gatsby (Warren Beatty)

English teacher used a trailer in the lad I supports English lesson this week. Hadn't watched it before but not too bad a watch, may well read the book.

Some of the films I’ve recently seen:

The Zookeeper’s Wife: What can I say, Jessica Chastain is a talented (and gorgeous) actress. A look into the lives of some people during the time the Nazis invaded Poland. 8/10

Born in China: Breathtaking scenery and beautiful animals, but parts of the film were ruined by the kind of cheesy narration that companies like Disney pull off all too well. Also, this might’ve worked better as a one-hour documentary than an 80 minute movie. 6/10

Free Fire: In all its rather realistic violence with many unrealistic results, the movie was quite entertaining and also very humorous at times. 8/10

Saw the Baywatch movie today. Was hoping for it to be a truly funny movie, to make for some light-hearted entertainment. Turns out there was hardly any heart and definitely no brains in this movie. It felt like I was watching a lousy TV show from the eighties, with a predictable “plot” and so-so acting. The only thing it really had going for it was the beautiful people. 3/10

Chips!
A very poor reimagined movie by writer, director, producer and star Dax Shepard.
Whilst the trailer for ChiPs might look exciting, The storyline and acting are abismal.
Erik Estrada makes a cameo and he is a better actor than these two!
Don't waste your time or money with this dribble 2/10
and yes it's that bad.:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

John Wick Chapter 2.
The BEST film I have seen in a quite a while. Yeah it's silly and far fetched, no great standout acting, bla bla bla, but it had me gripped from start to finish.
The action sequences are superbly choreographed and I can't wit for the next one.
Absolutely loved it.
8/10
