I see that a little differently. People need to be able to understand the difference between right and wrong, good and bad, without having to experience something bad. And I don't have confidence that if someone experiences something bad, that that will result in seeing things as they are instead of as they want them to be. Too many times those people experience something bad and then rationalize it so they can fit things into their myopic and self centered view of the world. In order for people to see things as they are they need to have the capacity for critical reasoning. Way too many people in this sad country just don't have the capacity for that type of thinking. I didn't always feel this way but after one term things have only gotten worse, not better.
It would be a shame if the car has to crash before the passengers realised they had a bad driver…

I'd just like to remind everyone that if you want to discuss politics you can do so in The Locker Room. Anyone who does not currently have access can request it either via PM to one of the team or by posting in the Contact The Team section of the site.

It makes our job as moderators easier if we don't keep having to respond to reported posts.

I made a big pot of soup yesterday. When it was time to put it in jars I reached for a ladle. Much to my surprise and dismay it was a right handed only design (I‘m left handed). What the…?! So I rummaged around the kitchen and found an ambidextrous version. Who knew? :(

I am noticing that dog owners are bagging their pet's poop and leaving the bag laying on the trail. I understand they probably don't want to be walking around carrying a bag of excrement, but make the dog carry it.
If they are lucky enough to own a dog then you take the bagged poop home with you, simple as.

If they leave a plastic bag of poop around there should be litter laws that are at least as punitive as allowing your dog to foul the pavement/footpath.

First thoughts, kill the dog and put the owner in "time out"

I’ve seen bags of poop hung on bushes. :cursing:
