Never did like attending meetings as imo most were a waste of time that would be better spent just getting on with the grunt. It's all likely related to "The Peter Principle" in some way.

We called it "Bullsh*t Bingo" a few of us would write up our own cards with maybe 4 or 5 "in" Phrases depending on who was chairing, ie "Outside of the Box", "Blue sky syndrome", "real world" etc. etc, if you got all yours mentioned you had to agree with the Bullsh*tters nonsense with a nod and the word "Bingo".
They never really cottoned on.

On a similar note there is another forum the uses acronyms at the start of most of the posts, AITA or TIL or AITO1, drives me FN.

I would really appreciate if people would stop ‘reaching out’ to me; I’m concerned they might reach too far and fall on their (silly) faces. All it takes is for them to contact me (by phone, email or text, or maybe even in person)…’reaching out’ is far too hazardous to their health. :banghead:Similarly, don’t ask me if I want a ‘beverage’ when all I want is something to drink.:drink:

I'm with you, I hate that one. I also wish people would stop “passing” and go back to just dying. I knew where I was with “died”.

There is a certain well known Amerkin shaving forum that is now basically impossible to view on my phone because they have pop-up video ads in floating windows obscuring even more of the tiny screen than the embedded adverts.
