I’ve since bought a pair of Showa builders gloves that are fairly similar to those Milwaukee ones. I have some difficulty wearing gloves as my right hand has a significant web between the middle two fingers. Indeed, when I was born, my left hand middle two fingers were fully conjoined. It’s the same story on both feet! Five bones but four toes. I had two operations to separate the left hand fingers but my feet are all original.

Aw, poor boo boo.Buggering about building a fence. Staved my hand: ‘tis a bit on the swollen side but as long as I can still grip my tool(s), it’ll be reet.

I was rarely a work gloves wearer mostly wearing gloves if certain chemicals were being used or PPE was in affect(?)... i've been using nitrile coated gloves because my fingers/hands can't get a good grip on things and the nitrile gives me extra grip... i like feeling things i do and gloves take that away...

I have found that age has resulted in my skin becoming less durable to accidental scrapes and such. Having a glove protects the skin from needless injury. When I had and used a tractor with implements., I used thick leather gloves after ripping the skin off a finger or knuckle. I also wore good work boots for the same reasons. I use gloves when using liquids for two reasons, I do not want the skin exposure and to keep my hands clean. So, different gloves for different jobs.
Some excitement today where my nephew lives a few blocks from us. A large black bear made its way into his backyard neighbour's yard and climbed a big old pine tree to digest all the apples he had eaten. The Ministry of Natural Resources was called, and they estimated the bear weigh about 250 kgs/550 lbs and not in a good position to be tranquillized. They had 3 staff using bear bangers, explosive noise makers, scare him out of the tree and then they tranquilized him. The bear immediately then ran off down the street to finally pile up a block away near an intersection. Hope he enjoyed his ride out back to the bush.

So i've been hit pretty good that summer is gone and winter will be here in a week or less... i don't really consider fall fall once the temp dips into the low 70⁰s i need to wear sweatshirts and pants sometimes lined ones... this morning my dumbphone's weather guesser shows it's 54⁰ and the main reaon i've been up since 0330... eff winter...

54 degrees actually sounds nice to me. We've had the normal combination of high humidity and near 100 temps that causes me to perspire shooting my sling shot in the shade. Mowing or any other work outside is done before 10 if possible.
However, I do enjoy having four seasons and have four front door wreaths that represents each. I will be hanging the Fall wreath on September 1.
