Our next door neighbours, young couple with a toddler, are emigrating to Canada, Vancouver area. They have relatives there.

I wish them well. It’s a big step but they are of an age to be able to cope.

Certainly going to a very fine country.

So back in the day I had reason to be in the OR. It was a common practice for jokes to be shared. One that I recall and consider it the best of all time begins like this, a lady decided to have a face lift. She scheduled the surgery and later upon waking in recovery felt a protrusion in the back of her head. she inquired from the surgeon to understand what it was. The surgeon said it was a set screw that would allow tightening of the skin and avoiding a future need for surgery. She was fine with the explanation and was later discharged.

I few months later she scheduled an appointment with the surgeon complaining she had developed bags under her eyes. Upon examination the surgeon said those are not bags, those are your breasts. He continued, if you don't leave that set screw alone you are going to have a goatee.

I checked with Publix Pharmacy regarding the availability of a Covid vaccine. My last one was February. They said they didn’t know when, but suspect if. Not sure why, but there has been an uptick of Covid cases in the past month.

School has resumed as have respiratory infections.

I get an influenza vaccine near Oct first.
