True enough but consider the pollution generated to produce an EV, the difficult to deal with lithium batteries at end of life and the additional electrical power that needs to be generated over and above what current power grids can sustain.
I think no matter which way you go, you could just be rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

the new year brought in 3" of snow for it's celebration... at least it wasn't the ice fall we got the othe day that went to rain turning the area into a ice skaters dream overnight...
I see our cold has gotten down your way too. Having snow on top of ice can really make for some treacherous walking/driving conditions. Be safe out there.

thanks... i've experienced this type of thing before... fortunately the ice was cleaned up pretty easy the other day so the light snow just needed to be pushed away... i got a big what i call a plow shovel... it lets me use my body to get the snow out of the way and keeps me balanced if i need it...

had a giggle this early morning the weather guesser app sort of worked and says a warmer day today should get in the low 20s(-6ish for those that have weird temp maths)... should say "should be a not as cold day today"... i've never been warm in 20f temps...

Slipped on an icy patch on the road this morning. Managed to land awkwardly, thankfully didn’t bust anything,just a painful hip and knee. So icy I had to literally crawl to a less icy bit to stand up.

In elementary school we were taught that using "bust" instead of "break" was sort of ignorant, crude, or illiterate,... street slang. I use it when I'm deliberately trying to sound that way.
