Second run out with the SB in the Black PVD finish.
This is not as aggressive as I first thought. It is much more in line with the DE89 (if memory serves me correctly!), and it is a nice smooth razor, very impressive. If you like bite though this may underwhelm. Don't get me wrong here, it is NOT Feather/Guerilla mild, in that it actually shaves stubble off (
). I also think the handle may be a little large for some, but there are plenty of Black PVD handles on the bay to remedy this.
I have a nice DFS shave with no nicks or irritation. You can't really ask for more.
I'll have a couple of days break, get some good growth going and give the OC another run out...

Just had another shave with the Stainless Steel OC. It really is a damn good shaver! It is similar to a FaTip, maybe a little more blade feel if I'm honest. A very close and smooth shave after 2 passes, but went for a 3rd and I'm super close. Next to no irritation either. I have a feeling that this would bite if you loose concentration, I also think it may be a little too much for a daily, but it destroys multiple days worth of stubble.

First impressions from me
Good points;
Well fitting parts I can feel no movement in the heads
Nice thick handles feel really solid and not too heavy so the razors feel well balanced
The open comb head feels nicely finished compered to a lot of SS open combs which can feel rough on the face
Cons;
I'm not liking the large MIL logo on the heads. I think it cheapens the look
The black is wearing off already in places, I do not know if @Rowlers received brand new razors so cannot say how much use it has had but the finish definitely does not look durable.
Nothing new here they just seem to be bog standard razors in the DE89 ilk.
I'll report my findings when my stubble regrows.

Thanks for clearing that up Lee, so it's a mark off for the finish which is either badly applied or not durable enough to stay looking good for too long.
