I really like that style too. Since I’ll be in Sydney and Hobart in February I’ll see what I can find. I suspect the selection will be better in Sydney. We’ll be staying in the Sydney business district, are there any retailers I should visit?

Not all Akubra style and colours are available across Australia in various stores, depends on what they stock up during the release style and version available (YMMV)

I was never much of a fan of Rush / or any prog rock, but i have a place in my heart for "Spirit of Radio" because it was played endlessly in rock clubs at a happy time in my life when i had my bikes, loads of great mates and no worries at all.

Grnerally not here in Canada. What is even worse are the men and boys who don’t remove their hats when sitting down to eat. I always remove my had when entering a building and I never ever leave my hat on at the table. I’ve had a few tense moments with my grandsons over hat wearing indoors or at the table, but they know better now. Even one of my sons-in-law had to be trained in proper hat wearing etiquette, but he gets it now.

All I know is that if you enter a Canadian military mess without removing your headgear you have just bought a round for the members present. The exception to that is if you have your traditional style religion dictated headgear on.

I've seen young and old alike wearing caps and hats in church services here.
