Haircut on my own..

Yes, but I don't do anything fancy with it. It's long, no bangs, so I just trim the split ends with a pair of scissors every so often. About once a year I cut it up to my shoulders. My mom cut it when I lived at home. The only time I've had a salon cut my hair was when I was about 6 and hacked off half my hair with a pair of scissors. Mom took me in to get everything tidied and evened up.

i haven’t visited a barber in over a year. I’ve invested in a set of cordless clippers and SWMBO gives me a #3 buzz-cut all over (my head) every so often. I like it and like it even more during the summer months.

Haircut yesterday, used the Wahl with no guard, feels great but my head sticks to the pillow at night, and pulling a T-shirt over my head is very strange.

I use a #2 comb when I do mine. The results aren’t as hedgehog-like as yours are.🦔

I've been using a #1 and this is way shorter than that, like maybe two days growth from shaved. The bare steel trimmer didn't feel as nice as a plastic guard.
