I've been cutting my hair every 2 weeks since May using clippers intended for dog grooming  Works fine, I've become quite adept at the old undercut... Takes me 20 mins now and I can do a better job than any barber has managed when I asked for this cut in the past.
Same. I am using Andis AGC-2 pet clippers. These clippers have a “people” and a “pets” version, and I cannot se any difference in appearance or specs other than model number. I use “people” blades and guards, both of which fit perfectly, so it is probably more for marketing purposes.

Mine are Lidl own brand, cost £15 and came with 4 guards, scissors, brush and even a handy claw clipper

Used a Wahl previously which cost £20 from TKMaxx (RRP £40 IIRC) and they are quite different beasts... The Wahl were seemingly high speed/low torque, very noisy and vibrated like hell whereas the dog clippers are quiet, minimal vibration and seem to have a lot more power.

I have a couple of pairs of hair clippers, and I just do a 15mm all over.
If your hair is that short, going the extra mile and doing the sides is really easy. Just go sideways (front to back) with your clippers at a slight angle instead of upwards. The only part where you'll need to go upwards is the back, which isn't hard if you have a smaller mirror in your hand (and the main mirror in front of you).

I'd have an undercut if I had anything left on top, as it is I just shave the lot.

These are my favourite haircut clippers. Everything from 5mm to 15mm.

The cutting blades swivel 360 degrees for up, down, sideways, and oblique cutting.
They are the same as mine. I shave mine 5mm all over and trim my sideburns a bit shorter then blend it in. Used to go to the Turkish barber every 3 weeks at £8 a pop but not been since March, saved a fair bit of money and won’t be going back, although feel sorry for the lads as they were excellent at their job and very hard working.

At 5mm all over I look bald!
