Cargo with Martin Freeman. I know he’ll have been paid more than I’ll get for five years for it but honestly give it a miss it’s bloody awful!!

I didn't think it was unwatchable but it has a very low budget scrappy feel to it and never manages to really convince. Freeman's 'acting' being partly to blame he has a limited range of gurns to use for all situations. The baby on the other hand acts her socks off and carries what little comedy there is in a sea of bleakness

I am in the middle of 13 reasons why season 2. Even though, I am definitely too old for this sh... and some of their concerns are ridiculous (they will do/try much more serious things at university ; besides, I am quite sure that I stumbled across much more sinful drunk teenagers in London streets on Friday nights...), it is pretty watchable.

Killing Eve was cool too, as well as Silicon Valley. At the moment, Westworld S02 and Billions S03 are my favourite shows.

Watched ''A Quiet Place'' the other day - SciFi Drama Horror - Story of a family living in a world where some monsters/aliens with supergood sound sensors take over the world. So you can imagine - they are forced to live in silence.
It has good ratings but I didn't think it's that good. Gave it a 6/10. I like the idea but for me, there are a lot of plotholes.

Also Ms pimple8 & I watched ''Perfetti sconosciuti'' last night - translated as Perfect strangers - an Italian movie about a group of friends getting together for dinner and decide to play a game - they put their phones on the table and read every message/email out loud. You can imagine - things get complicated. Not a bad movie. 7/10 for me

I do not get Freeman, to quote GM Vietnam he sucks the sweat off a dead mans balls. Horrible in Black Panther too, what am I missing with this dull jerk and please don't quote me The Office?

Indeed, especially in the US where everything is solved with guns, I am pretty sure that the defence industry would have found a solution in not time to annihilate the beasts; some kind of land mine would be a good trap. Unfortunately, I snore sometime, so I would not live long enough to see that...

I would recommend "Game Night" for a fun movie. No heavy thinking necessary.

Just watched The Shape Of Water. Loved every single second of it. Yes it's a mushy love story with a twist but the characters are so well portrayed and wonderfully crafted they carry the film along at a pace. The effects are superb and the whole story whilst far fetched, well it is fantasy, draws you in and makes it truly believable. I'm not afraid to say I shed a little tear at the end but halfway through I knew I would. First class for Men and Women. The added bonus is Sky TV gave me it free which was really nice of them, the DVD too.

"Ready player one".
A really good movie that passes some good messages for these days.
A lot of 80's and I loved it for this!

Another great movie, a comedy, is "Welcome to the sticks".
French comedy, and I think the comedy of the decade!
I didn't have such a good time with a comedy since... I don't even remember when.

Watched Pandora last night. A Korean film on Netflix about a nuclear disaster. Very sad,and not easy viewing given the real life tragedies the nation endured a few years ago, but compelling viewing nevertheless.
