I never replaced my bottle of Thayers when it ran out... found something else which I preferred, though not as good value. Mandom Lucido aftershave lotion from Japan, available on eBay for around £12 delivered. It's completely unscented and has a mild menthol hit.Are you still using the Thayers?

As for Tüff I think the only place you can get it from outside of Germany is yourshaving.com - Probably the most underrated/overlooked aftershave in the world IMO

Green is a bit more healing but mostly unscented, red smells amazing if you like old school scents.

Worth buying a Zenith boar whilst you're there, that's what I always do as they're unobtanium in the UK and the shipping is fixed rate up to 5kg I think... I should be on commission for this

I have been thinking about getting the Lucido - I am curious about it. Does it have any moisturising properties?

It feels like mentholated witch hazel to me so not particularly but there is a little. It's nothing like classic European aftershaves with their castor oil content which gives the skin a slick feeling... Lucido is probably closer to something like Fine.

Humphreys Lilac toner works well for me. I prefer my aftershaves alcohol-free and only lightly-fragranced with some skin ‘conditioning’ - this has allantoin, aloe, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, calendula and a few other bits and pieces. I follow up with a dedicated moisturiser which, in my opinion, is a more important part of the routine!

Recently procured bottles of mid-80’s Azzaro Pour Homme EdT and A/S. They’re both strongly scented but the A/S has been pleasantly surprising. Slick and alcoholic on skin and feels moisturising as it quickly dries. Has been nice post-shave and exacerbates the fragrance.

For about 3 or 4 years now, I've been using my favorite aftershave splash - Superior 70 Mentolado to which I add a generous amount of additional menthol crystals and 1/3 of a tube of 444 balm. Each bottle lasts 6 months. It's not a perfume, and I like how it feels following the shave. I'm not much of a fan of fragrance for the sake of smelling pretty in the office or elevator.

Did you order any in the end Rando? I decided to restock myself and they arrived today in the new bottles. Used the red (herb) a little while ago and can tell you the scent is very similar to Proraso red aftershave, I'm almost certain its the same perfume used in them both it's that similar.
