First impressions. I haven't loaded a blade yet, so I'll update the question about blade play this weekend. The plating is definitely not great between the cap and plate, but otherwise, it seems to be a decent budget stainless offering so far. This weekend we'll find out how it shaves.

I‘ve had mine for a few days and it has some of the reported play in the head construction. I found that when holding the head on the side when twisting down the handle, blade and head alignment was a non issue.
I‘m still to use it because, quite honestly, I‘m afraid to do so

I have a Z0 since about Christmas and may share my impression:
- nicely done and finished.
- yes it has some play, but can easily be aligned when tightening the handle. So, really a no-issue for me, but I understand it can bother some other persons. Level of play depends also on the blade used.
- I ordered it with a KVT titanium handle, nice and light weight, it gives the 40% / 60% (head/handle) weight distribution sweet spot to me. I eventually came to use my Stork Titanium handle instead as I prefer the grip of that one, the KVT being a little slippery to my taste.
- concerning shaving performance and efficiency: that Z0 is really great. I mostly used it everyday since about 2 weeks (with Crown Platinium (6) and Treet Platinium (6) blades) with no major problems, no nicks, no irritations, just clean, fresh and really efficient BBS shaves in 3 passes (the 3rd not being mandatory!).
All in all I'm very happy with it, especially regarding its price!

I really liked the look of that. Have convinced myself that there's no point buying it as I already have the RazoRock version. I'd be getting it only for the scalloped cap and because it looks pretty

Yes, shiny objects do entice. I’m thinking of going overboard and getting the copper Voevoda handle from Homelike. Yep That’s the plan now.

It does seem to have a small amount of movement. Not nearly as bad as my Schone, which is better than my Fatip. You do have to pay attention to it, though. First shave coming up on Saturday.

Thanks for the review @gwsmallwood . Definitely not cast, they are CNC machined. And because they are CNC machined the play should be a lot smaller. They just have to work on it and they said they’ll fix it

Yeah, I think it's just the poor plating under the cap that makes it look like it could be cast.
