no doubt be another 6-8 weeks before one can find out and yes the stork hedgehog- I actually paid £80 for second hand-as compared to only £26 from china -for a non grippy clone of the stork!so the handle is a lot more expensive than the ti head-be an interesting one for sure-as already have a superb carbon titan in 1.08 ++ plate and also a customised seygus zeppelin in 1.10 and both are fantastic shaving razors for sure-

...as seems to have little grip whereas the original stork is one of the grippiest handles that I own!)
That's what I have noticed on most 3-piece razors from Chinese manufacturers (with maybe one exception), too - they look alright, but actual grippiness is rather poor.

Probably using worn out tooling-to beyond its limits-rather than replace the carbide cutters more often-

And coupled with - very cheap labour -accounts for the cheap prices from china-?
That no one in usa or eu can ever hope to compete with--??

But interesting to see the titanium version -as most ti rods and slabs-are either Russian or usa manufactured- stuff -mostly I imagine -a by product of heir uses-for aircraft -submarines and rockets etc- and then re-smelted?
But still 3-4 times the price of similar 316l stainless??

And as ti material is just so hard -tooling will wear out more than twice as quick- also-

So be interesting to see how a large production run of them- bears out?? at only around £56 for the head parts only-worth a chance- I thought-

As always liked the look of all of -my scalloped timeless models- with the exception of the initial matte ti one- that they first Brought out-superb shaving razor- despite its hideous looks- a bit like- most folks reaction to my new carbon titan-
It will just take a wee while- before folks realise that odd and newer materials ?? like carbon fibre-do have a place in our shaving gear-
Me I love it -as whole razor and handle weighs it in under 38 grams-??

And outperform my old pre wolfman bbs1 model!! so a daily user for sure? and light years ahead of any of all 3 -of my wolfmans(-2 of which I have retained) simply as I like the look and quality of them-but not the shaves from either of them!!

Well, now there's more - an 0.68 dual comb (X1) and an open comb (X2) as well as 0.86mm (S9) SB.
I saw those this morning. Give it a couple of weeks and we'll be able to buy the Lupo 72 from them

A lot of the product text is directly copied from the Italian Barber website.

They might start selling them even before RazoRock does at this rate.
Then again, they'd have to copy less that way.

I don't think I'd noticed the text being a copy before (I don't think I scrolled down enough to actually read it), but you're right. It's them getting lower and lower in that regard. :-/

RazoRock claim that they have invested $500K in a CNC machining centre and have a dedicated machinist. I assumed they had this capability in Canada.

Given the speed Dscosmetics have started to produce these different variations, and the fact they only seem to be copying RazoRock, I wonder if the RazoRock razors have been made in China all along.

It's mostly RazoRock, although they did copy Muhle as well (although zamak R41 are all over AliExpress and some of them are actually smoother shavers than the original at about the same efficiency, but theirs seems to be slightly different still).
When I saw the Mamba clone, the first though that popped into my head was something like: "Well, that probably explains why they are cheaper than everyone else for machined razors in the West." Fendrihan has cheaper ones, but they are cast steel, at least the Mk1 and Mk2 are.

Well surprise surprise -the ti 0.8 gap- titanium -and Chinese made razor head-descended on me today.
(seems that here- in the uk they finally use Royal Mail 48 to deliver the razor head- here in the uk-although it took Royal Mail 5 days to do so!!)

Delighted with the sheer quality of machining- and all tolerances on this cap and base plate -with no play whatsoever evident.
small amount of residual machine work in one of the grooves- under the cap -but nothing that would ever affect tolerances etc.

I added my usual plastic spacer washer- and then added my existing stork hedgehog ti handle- to make a complete -and ready to use razor
and mightily impressed with the end result.
So- will get to use it- for my first shave -of the new year-tomorrow- and then report back -with an update of my impressions-
- as to performance and efficiency-

Have a good new year- to all our fellow shavers

Amazing value for a titanium head. If it wasn't for those notches that trigger my OCD (WHY?) I would go for it.....
