Ok excellent, we'll see how it plays tomorrow. Throughout all of it I'm most shocked that I actually like the weight. Usually I go for beefier options, but I'm actually getting on with it quite nicely.

Look forward to seeing your thoughts. Titanium is a lovely material, not toy like light how aluminium can be, screams quality.

Well final four down concentrating on the Nodachi Cap/Masamune SB & Masamune Cap/Nodachi SB.

Both combinations are exceptionally smooth and efficient. The longevity of the shaves are pretty much on par with each other. Either combination could quite happily be an everyday for me. I'm sure one may come out on top if I were to give it enough time to play but really I think it would be a toss up between the two.

Now the question is whether I would go out and pick one up, it's a possibility but I would have to think hard on it. It's relatively expensive but the overall quality is very good, I would have to have a clear out before realistically diving in and it would be a tough one considering a number of the razors in the den are equally capable. For the time being it would be a hold but I wouldn't rule it out for the not too distant future.

Now to get it cleaned up and ready for it's onward journey. I believe that's @wooky114, I'll drop you a PM a little later today to get details.

Shave three: Nodachi Solid Bar Base Plate, pairing it with the Masamune Top Cap. This set up gives a blade gap of 0.9mm and a blade exposure of -0.03mm to 0.05mm, I think I found the sweet spot, cracking shave...

I called it . Do you like the handle size in this titanium configuration or do you think you would prefer the nodachi handle?

I think, personally for me Jon, it's spot on; this is zen....

There's a video to sort yet, but we've family visiting at the moment and that comes before YouTube....

Have you used the stainless version before? I think from your video you mentioned you prefer the weight over aluminium, is that the same over stainless?
