Cheap Brush is still my favorite, how could this be?

I dug out an older natural hair brush recently and have used it a few times.

Its a "Progress Vulfix 404 Grosvenor Mixed Badger and Boar Bristle Shaving Brush" which i bought in 2016 and used quite a bit back then.

This last week or so, whenever i used it, it shed a bristle or two each time. I have hung it upside down to dry on a stand each time i used it and always used to do so.

Does the hair loss mean its dying ?

Hopefully it's been dead for a while now! :p:

Maybe shampoo it with warm water.

Sometimes things just WORK, regardless of cost.

I’ve actually been looking for a 21mm boar knot. The first Muhle synthetic I ever bought is just awful, and I’d love to get it back into circulation. Seems like I used to see 21mm knots pretty regularly, but not anymore. Not sure who makes the good ones.
Boti Brush makes a 20 and 21mm size boar knot.

I just really like Synths. I have got a few decent Badgers which were gifted to me and a Boar brush or two, but since using a Synth i have never looked back really.

In fact, this thread prompted me to tick something off the wish list and i just today ordered a Yaqi 24MM Sagrada Familia from their AliExpress shop !!
The Sagrada Familia arrived a couple of weeks back, so have had time to get to know the Holy Family.

I can see now why people rave about it. The handle is compact, yet enables a good grip even when wet and the knot is a decent size with a fair amount of backbone and not too floppy. I really like it and it feels like a bargain at under £12 delivered.
