I dug out an older natural hair brush recently and have used it a few times.

Its a "Progress Vulfix 404 Grosvenor Mixed Badger and Boar Bristle Shaving Brush" which i bought in 2016 and used quite a bit back then.

This last week or so, whenever i used it, it shed a bristle or two each time. I have hung it upside down to dry on a stand each time i used it and always used to do so.

Does the hair loss mean its dying ?

Hopefully it's been dead for a while now! :p:

Maybe shampoo it with warm water.

My favorite Brush is still this. MSRP $5.00 - OMEGA 10019 Boar.

Make Lather well, applies Lather well, Weight is not heavy, feel Great in Hand, and last holds on to Lather like most Boars.
