You hear reviews from people you trust and know on here ...
For me, not a little thing.

But a successful YouTube influencer has a bigger audience than a few following a pass around 🤷
But It's just a person's point of view, not many ...

I can't recall how many times I bought a razor after watching a youtube review, and then found they totally "forgot" to mention obvious problems.
... and can be not on focus, from the user perspective.

Osprey product page is live.
I love the part about 30 days trial.
Don’t love it? Don’t keep it!
We make the world’s best razors and we’re confident that you’ll agree.
In fact, we’re so confident that we give you 30 days to try it out risk-free.
Shave with your Osprey for a month and if you don’t love it, send it right back.
But on the refund page, I read this.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be
1. in the same condition that you received it
2. unworn or unused
3. with tags
4. in its original packaging
You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Points 2 and 3 are difficult if the product is used.
How doet It works exactly, i.e. for a EU user like me?

I'm in! Looks superb and very clean lines and design. I'll be placing my order on Friday. Also, still trying to get an Elbrus from Homelike..... or anyone else who has one for sale.

I think you have to pay for shipping and any Customs fees you’ve paid out obviously can’t be refunded.
No disrespect to US Artisans but worthless outside of the States.
UK Customs duties can be refunded in a few limited circumstances:
  • you’ve rejected the goods because at the time of declaring them to a customs procedure they’re:
    • defective
    • damaged before being cleared by customs
    • not compliant with the terms of the contract you imported them under
  • they’re the same goods from the original customs declaration
  • you’ve not used any goods, other than the minimum necessary to establish they were defective or did not comply with the contract
  • you’ve not sold the goods after finding them to be defective, damaged or not compliant with the contract
  • you’ll re-export or destroy the goods

Refunds and waivers on customs debt by HMRC - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Other countries with VAT will be broadly similar I would imagine, but you will have to consult your own authorities
