Great first shave with the + plate. It was easy to find the angle from the start and the weight/balance was so good
it felt like I'd used the razor several times before. An easy 3 pass BBS result with no nicks or irritation. There was for me,
minimal blade feel and this plate could easily be a daily driver. I think it's just short of the efficiency of say a Blackbird or
Dart, so tomorrow I'll try the OC plate with the same blade. After just one shave it's too early to draw any conclusions but
so far, I'm impressed!

I used the open comb plate today and it was as smooth as the + plate and a smidge more efficient. This really is a user friendly razor and I was whizzing it around my face without a care in the world, you'd really have to go out of your way to get this to nick you.
I think I'll stick with the OC for the next shave but change the blade for a Kai or a Feather.
Still impressed.

Open comb plate with a Feather blade today and another smooth, drama free shave.
I still don't think the Drakkant is quite up there with the most efficient razors but you'll
still end up BBS, it just takes a little more work to get there. So far the shaves have lasted
about 10-12 hours before there is any noticeable stubble feel returning which is good.
I'll keep this blade in and use it with the + plate next.

In the last two shaves I've used the plus plate with the Feather and the standard plate with a Kai blade. I found the standard plate very smooth but too mild for my taste, if I were buying this razor I'd go with the plus or the OC plates. I'll get a couple more shaves in before l send it back.

Thanks all for your feedback. Think on the whole it was very positive and Kaleb was pleased with the take up. I’m going to try the plus plate again once it’s back and then send the prototype plates back to him
