Review Alpha OUTLAW - DE 316L STAINLESS. FULLY MACHINED Prototype V3

Nisse

Old geezer
My daily shave is rather uneventful irrespective of razor used, I only remember cutting my jaw with a straight razor four or was it five years ago no drama and bloodbath but best avoided, will probably cut myself tomorrow morning just because I wrote this :)

"Aggressive" doesn't mean anything, it's a razor, it's supposed to be sharp, I've never been attacked by a razor,... or a gun.
Hi there,

Whew doggies, talk about a different point of view than me! Actually I'm not positive you're being serious or maybe doin some chain jerking or possibly something in the middle.

Personally, there's lot's of razors having waltzed around my face and some are just not a good fit for my particular druthers. Some are too efficient. Yep, they whack them whiskers with more efficiency than needed. Think of Feather DE blades......a bit more than I need for a great shave but needing to pay more attention during the process. No forgiving buffer with those blades......no hint of a screw up in progress until it happens.

Man, I have some nice looking razors in the arsenal that never get wet! No way I am able to get a comfortable shave, since I hate feeling the blade on my face in most cases. Those like the Gillette Old Types and other early short teeth versions.....bloodsucking vampire bastards. Very very close shave at the expense of comfort and almost always some color in the lather, even when paying closer attention than normally needed. This is using something like a Sharp Edge or Iridium Super.....not a Feather.

If my introduction to DE shaving wouda been starting off with a bite prone razor that was very difficult in general, I mighta stayed with the M3 back then. With no reference point there wasn't a way to know it was just bad luck choice and plenty of DE razors would be fine. The aggressive E type was sadly my first injector experience, and it was gruesome and put me off trying another one for years. Razors described as aggressive or very efficient are both types I stay away from normally. Certainly not saying my opinion is right for others of course.

Whew, what a blabbermouth and apologies to the OP for the partial thread derailment,

Martin

Not in metal...
Is that a problem? The TNNSER razor has proven that a rapid is more than good enough to create razors which and while the extra weight changes the shave a rapid would quickly and cheaply prove out the geometry of the razor. Granted that metal s a good process check for the machine shop - but the costs!

Good read.

If you want a new razor that's efficient, get a 20 dollar all brass Piccolo. It can't chatter, won't clog, and the shave can't be beat,... the price seals the deal.
Yeah that's great if your hands are the size
Of a five year old kid, only then can that
Handle size make sense to me, now on
The other hand the Grande handle is perfect
For me. I use the Grande very often.

He is, and I don't quite understand why. It looks to be a nicely thought out product and the razor head is based upon a well established design from Executive Shaving (which I've owned before and, whilst it was too aggressive for me, had zero blade chatter). I really don't get the excessive negativity.
Most of it is coming from one guy, that
Kinda sounds like an Ambassador for Fatip
I'm not saying that he is one

I'm with @Mr Bigmem 'innocent until proven guilty' I haven't tried the razor so can't really provide a definitive judgement. In comparison I have owned 3 fatips, 2 had irregular blade alignment the 3rd is a fantastic shaver. However due to this production inconsistency, I can't claim the razor to be the best. But the price reflects this.
Fatip
I own two of them they are ok but there's
Nothing high quality about them, they certainly are no match for the .84 OC Game Changer.
