I think this is only an issue if you shave ATG and have thick hair.

I think ATG can be an issue with razors that either clamp far from the edge of the blade, or have a large positive blade exposure.

The Blackbird doesn't clamp near the blade edge and there is definitely no chatter.

True, but it probably doesn't chatter because it is supported close to the edge by the top cap. That is probably the exception to my statement above about clamping. I think clamping close to the edge is better than only top cap support close to the edge, but top cap support close to the edge is better than nothing.
